One of my favourite things right now is makeup, although I don’t wear it as often as I used to. This Dior makeup collection was created in a few months, and probably by looking at the photos, you can guess which item I bought first.
Shop my makeup:
I’d call it Dior makeup collection, although I have one item which is technically related to skincare. Since it’s still the same brand, I’ve included it in this post as well.
I know that each item is pricey, so I was saving up for each, but I tried one or several testers before making the decision whether I should buy it or not.
I’ve always been a light/sheer foundation girl and, most of the time, used either BB or CC creams or tinted moisturizers, but I have a few sunspots now and need something more than concealer to hide them. I also wanted to stick to something light in texture, so I chose this primer and Backstage Face & Body foundation because it is buildable and still light. As for the Backstage Face & Body primer, I like that it helps to hide my pores, so that’s undoubtedly a product worth investing in. I’ve read a lot of reviews that this primer works best with the Dior foundation (now who would’ve thought lol), and agree, but I used it with other foundations like Lise Watier, Maybelline and Fenty Beauty (yes, I have a wide range of foundations) and liked it with each and every one.
As for the Plump Filler serum, I must say its quite thick, so I apply it last and make sure to wait around 5 minutes for it to absorb before applying my Dream Skin corrector. Because of the price, I use the whole combination on the days I want or need to look flawless. I use the primer & foundation more often in everyday life.
I hope this helps if you are still deciding whether it’s worth splurging on, it was definitely worth every penny for me.
