5 Hand Care Tips.

This will be useful even if you’re located in a happy place with no low temperatures and freezing wind!
It’s extremely important to take good care of all of your body, but when most of it covered with clothes (which adds that extra protection) some of the parts are not. I believe you already know how all the environment and things you do damage your hands so in this post I’ve decided to share some tips and tricks that will help you to have soft hands!

Hair and Makeup, Beauty, Beauty Tips, Bliss, Clinique, Eucerin, L'Occitane, philosophy, polyvore, Victoria's Secret, William Morris, Tips and Tricks,

1. Day.
Use light creams, fast absorbing and preferably water base. Keep mini bottle in your purse and apply to the hands regularly.
For example in our office the air is so dry and I’m washing hands quite often so I apply my hand cream every 2-3 hours.

2. Evening.
Now it’s time for heavy, oil or glycerine based cream. Once you’ll clean all the house/dishes/finished cooking or other apply heavily on your hands and relax 🙂
Please do use gloves for any household task, it will not only save your manicure, but will also help to save that soft hand feeling.

3. Night.
For extra nourishment use hand care gloves, bed time, massage cream into the hands and put on the gloves, then you can go to sleep)

4. Extra help.
I did try once Hot Paraffin Wax Treatment and it was awesome. A bit pricey I would tell you, but I had the gift card so gave it a try and wasn’t disappointed.
If your hands are pretty damaged this will work miracle.
Please do this at the qualified place since there is temperature standards and special equipment involved.

5. On a regular basis.
Din’t forger that you need to exfoliate your hands just like you exfoliate your face and body.
It will make your hands look fresh and will certainly improve your blood circulation.

Don’t forget the nails.
Proper manicure (even without any nail colour), clear polish and cuticle oil will make a big difference.

Hope it will help you!

I do take care of my arms, the only thing I don't do is wear gloves…but I'm making myself to do it, because a cut (and as I cook 2 meals a day I do cut myself occasionally) got infected because of the cold! Now I have a nasty scar:(

Aww, I suggest to have hand sanitizer handy and some nourishing creams for the night, hipe it will help!

  7. January 23, 2015 / 3:13 pm

Great tips! I always have to put lotion on after I wash my hands which I think definitely helps with keeping them moisturized. I used to do the paraffin wax when I got my facials (it was like a little bonus, I guess)…loved it!
