Apple Picking Outfit | Pine Farms Orchard Experience

Apple picking outfit 2

A bit of unusual post, but if you know me very well you’ve probably had a thought in your head that “even here she will have an outfit to show.” That’s right, today I’m writing about my apple picking outfit! There is nothing wrong with dressing up to go somewhere, even if it is apple picking or pumpkin patch (which we kind of combined). If you have a cozy or edgy outfit you wanted to show off I dare you to go ahead and do it because it is fun!

My friends and family who know me too well would assume that this outfit will have a twist to it and it did! As a person who wears leggings only at home or training leggings only to the gym, it is unusual for me to appear like this in public. I stumbled upon those maternity faux leather leggings on Mango website, and it was one click to buy experience! When I saw similar leggings on other bloggers, I was debating whether I should get them or not, but this time I just went ahead and got them! To tell you that I was thrilled with them is to say nothing! They are a hit in my wardrobe because now I can wear them with all of my oversized sweaters and some of my ankle and over the knee boots.

To complete this simple and casual apple picking outfit I went with a wool-blend sweater (which is size S by the way), simple ankle booties, my usual leather jacket and recent addition to my wardrobe my boater hat! You have already seen it in my previous style post and on some of my Instagram posts. This hat continues to be my number one accessory! It took me a good few years to find one, with the shape that fits me well, with the adjustable sizer, in felt material and it’s a keeper! To answer all the future questions (which I get a lot on my Instagram DM) – I buy all of my hats from Asos. They have the best prices and the most extensive selection. You can’t go wrong with choosing a hat!

The cherry on the top of my photoshoot was mist. It reminded me of the Sleepy Hollow movie with the same gothic atmosphere (which is perfect for Halloween). It added a new mood to my photos, and they turned out to be quite interesting. I didn’t expect my pumpkin photo to be a blast, receive so much love and be saved so many times, but it did!

As for the apple picking, it was fun! We ended up getting only two types of apples which you can eat, not cook with. I didn’t know which one I would like (hello constant changing taste) so we didn’t get much. Well, a week later my husband drove there to get me 10 lbs of Honey Crisp apples because they were that good! Plus their berry pies, which are too good to be true! Writing this right now makes me think whether we should go there now just to get their pies!
