You’ve probably already noticed that I love nourishing breakfasts and what can be more tasty and sweet for the eye than breakfast pancakes? Nothing beats the easiness of making and I have all the fun playing with the fruit and berry decorations.
Reading “Lessons from Madame Chic” I remember the moment when the writer was telling about Madame Chic paying attention to every single details to the esthetic look of everything, which included food. I didn’t understand it from the start, why dishes prepared in slow pace can be and look so satisfying, well now I know it. Every detail, even if it’s evenly sliced strawberry, brings me joy when I see the final result. Being a foodie I love to try out new things, even if they are as small as evenly spread pieces of fruits and berries on top of the breakfast pancake 🙂
As for the mix that I use: it’s regular gluten free one, I just add one egg, a tablespoon of olive oil and water, that’s it. I got the gluten free mix by mistake (2 packs) and since then decided that it’s the best mix for my breakfast pancakes!
I also cook not regular (jumbo) pancakes, we prefer the mini ones as they are easier to eat and faster to cook.
How do you love yours?
