Continuing with ready to bake mixes and this time I’ve decided to try out Indigo Kitchen Citrus Pound Cake mix with vanilla glaze. Pretty simple and time saving recipe for a breakfast cake. One thing that wasn’t done as in recipe on the box was adding lime wedges, it added more aroma.
The recipe itself is pretty simple.
1 pouch of cake mix
180 ml unsalted butter
1 pouch of mix
2-3 tablespoons water
Preheat the oven to 325F. Cream butter with hand mixer, add cake mix, eggs and water. Mix together so the ingredients are well blended. Pour batter into pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in centre will come out clean. Cool completely before serving.
As for the glaze mix simply mix it with the water in a bowl until it will be thick, drizzle over cooled pound cake.
