Dress to Impress.

Yep, that’s not attention seeking title, that is my description of this dress.
When I was introduced to the eShakti website I was really interested to play with all the custom options they have.

They are the first company I know, who really allow you to customize your clothing by your shape/forms/preferences so at the end you have tailor made clothing.
Now if you ever had a dilemma of adding/removing something from the item you love you know that sometimes it may cost you a fortune. Like my mother in law, she it petite so she needs to adjust the skirts/dresses length all the time and it’s very time and money consuming. How many times you’ve been saving the item in the bag and never bought it just because this embroidery could be removed, the neckline should be more open/closed and the length is too short/long for you. Sometimes the standard size doesn’t fit you as good as you imagined just because you are bigger here and smaller there. Well, for this situations they have also custom sizings, where you can enter your own measurements and plenty options of customizing your clothing so at the end your dress/skirt/etc. will have tailor made quality and will fit you like a glove.

Now for the impression part.
I know it may sound a little bit frustrating but you have to wait a week or two before your dress will be ready to ship, keep in mind that this is custom work with chosen adjustments so it justifies the waiting period.
I chose this chambray a-line pleated dress as the best option for summer-fall transitions and it was a win win!
I must say I never received so many compliments from my co-workers (male and female) till this day.
The dress itself is really comfy, doesn’t rumple and feels very light, I loved the soft fabric it’s made from. I left the pockets (you can remove them if you like) and added short sleeves (just because I like it better) and shorter length (you can choose from mini to midi/maxi and so on) so it will still be work appropriate but with a knee shown.

For the warm weather I styled it with silver pumps and delicate necklace, but it can also be worn with ankle boots and knotted shirt or cardigan and statement necklace for the colder days.
