For the past year, I’ve been sharing my seasonal beauty, skincare and makeup favourites with you. Some of them were a part of the blogger mail, others – bought by yours truly.
This time I’ve decided to list my most used and absolute favourites in hair, makeup and skin care I was using throughout the year. The rest were featured in my Beauty & Hair posts.
As you can see I have a blonde, highlighted, damaged hair, which needs extra care. I also use my heat tools daily, so thermal protection is much needed. My top hair care products of 2018 were:
Bonaure Silver Shampoo
Works like a charm in removing that nasty copper pigment and making my hair more cool toned. Doesn’t dry my hair as other silver shampoos and I found that no purple conditioner needed after.
Bonacure Nutri-Shield Serum
I use it as a finishing step before blow drying my hair. Usually, I gently work the product from the ends up to the middle.
Monat Blow Out Cream
One of the best blow out creams I’ve tried for the past three years. Honestly, this cream makes it so easy to style my short hair that I finally stopped using a flat iron after I blow dry my hair (which I did every time before).
Since I needed extra hydration and care for the growing belly, I opted out for the super healthy body and hand creams, which we bought on our stay at the Blue Mountain.
Herbivore Body Polish
It was one of the three products included in the holiday pack when I bought it and I already running low on it. It’s the most gentle body polish, which also hydrates your skin after you wash it off (rose and coconut oils included). Will order a full sided one.
L’Occitane Ultra Rich Body Cream
The name says it all. Be careful – it removes all the fake tan because it is super creamy and contains 25% Shea Butter. You’ll also need to wait for a little before dressing up because it will take some time until it absorbs. Don’t be scared, it will hydrate your skin for 24 hours and removes all the itchiness you will get while being pregnant. I’m more than a halfway through it and will use it till the due date for sure.
Vita Liberata Self Tanning Gradual Lotion (reviewed here)
Dr. Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk
More than a year ago I received a bottle as a part of my blogger mail. Time has passed, and I’ve repurchased it.
Can be used as a makeup remover or as a daily cleanser, which is how I prefer to use it. Very gently, natural ingredients help to clean all the impurities and calms mine a bit sensitive skin.
Alumier Antioxidant Serum
Received it from attending an event, but this serum is a must have for everyone! I’ve almost finished it and going to repurchase as this Antioxidant Serum is a real miracle for me. After using it in the morning, my skin looks revitalized, plumped and fresh. It is fast absorbing, but I use it in combination with my jade face roller to increase the effect.
Darphin Rose Oil Cream (reviewed here)
Pure Overnight Youth Concentrate (reviewed here)
Time has passed, but this is still a must-have for me. Repurchased and use it before all the important events for plumped, tight, radiant skin in the morning.
Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask (reviewed here)
Love it, use it mostly as a makeup primer now in the colder days. Will switch back to the night mask when the weather gets warmer.
L’Occitane Rose Hand Cream
As good as it sounds. Super nourishing, smells fantastic (even my husband complimented on the scent) and saves my hands from all the cold winds, frequent hand washes (preventing the flu) and protects the cuticles as well.
Giorgio Armani Beauty Eye Tint (reviewed here)
Also got myself another liquid eye tint in 10 Senso and use it for a dramatic look.
I received it as a part of my Sephora points order back in Fall. Great blush to travel with as it is compact and doesn’t take much space. Looks natural on the skin and helps to look fresher.
Mac Fix Plus Makeup Setting Spray
Been using this product for the longest time now. This year I’ve started to get my Fix Plus Spray in travel sizes just because it’s easier to carry it with me.
Juice Beauty Brow Gel
This tinted gel fills in my brows and gets me the coverage that I need. The light colour works perfectly with my natural eyebrow color, and the texture fills in the spots where my brows are not that full.
Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Foundation
I was very impressed with the texture and the coverage this foundation gave me. The texture is, and the coverage is light to medium, just as I like it. It works fantastic for my slightly dry skin and leaves it to picture perfect and super smooth when blending in.

Jouviance Skin Perfecting Blur Cream
The only product I took with me on our NYC trip, the only product that I use to prime my skin before applying foundation or tinted moisturizer and the product I swear by. This is how good Skin Perfecting Blur Cream is. Makes my skin looking radiant, plumped, super fresh and well rested. An absolute must if you are planning to make some photos that day. Prolongs the wear on my makeup and moisturizes my skin throughout the day. Silicone and oil-free matched every skin tone. Honestly, I’m using it very very carefully just because I want it to last me forever!
Nude By Nature Creamy Matte Lipstick
Surprisingly awesome. One of those matte lipsticks that doesn’t dry your lips, but keeps them hydrated while having a long wear colour. The texture is very smooth, and I’d say plush.
Jouviance PlumpFX Winter Kiss
This lip gloss comes in limited edition for the holidays and has the best light red colour for the plumping lip gloss. It is very sheer, super moisturizing and has a little sparkle! How I like it. I was using the regular Plump FX before, so this line is my favourite!
