February Struggles: Velvet Top & Long Coat

I guess my post name speaks for itself right? It’s that time when your Spring mood starts to accelerate, birds are singing (when it’s warm enough), you see the sun more, but…it’s still cold to rock those dresses, cropped pants with heels, and of course, skinny jeans with flats.

I mean, some bloggers dare to rock those looks through the entire winter, but I guess my immune system is against it and when I do it – bam, end up being sick with a flu. Until the day when it will be at least +15 and sunny (and I won’t be stuck in the office) my outfits will be pretty simple.

Even though I can’t wear lighter clothes right now, I still can wear some trending pieces, like this cute velvet top I got from Dynamite. Sometimes I do follow the trends, but try to do it very carefully. That’s how I don’t buy the entire velvet only closet, but invest in just one piece that I can combine with so many other pieces. And when the trend will go away – I can wear it with something else 🙂
