Yes, finally it has happened again! The spring has sprung and we are surrounded by the blossoming trees around us! Almost a week ago we did something we never do – woke up early in the morning and rushed to see the High Park Cherry Blossoms, among with other photo enthusiasts.
I must say when we were there a few years ago we couldn’t take proper shots because of how crowded High Park was, but not this year. Although the park was still full of people when we got there, it was easier to take pictures! Considering how fragile cherry blossoms are I’m really happy we made it there at the best time.
If you’ll ever be there for the same make sure to a) be there at least by 7.15 am & b) check out the enormous magnolia tree, which you could see as a background on some of my photos!
Now, as for the outfit! I didn’t expect such a great response about this long striped dress on my Instagram, but hey I’m really happy about that 😉
You won’t believe it, but this striped dress traveled with me to Los Angeles and back. I was planning to wear it there, but ended up taking a great amount of interchangeable outfits that I just didn’t have a time to show it to you. This dress/tunic feels like a second skin in the warm temps, because of its design and composition (linen, viscose, lyocell). I would add pockets to this wonderful dress, but styling it with a straw bag will help you to carry all the necessities. As for the shoes – I played safe by wearing simple, yet classy sandals.
