The weather is in a whole fall mood, which means more dark, gloomy days and cold, northern winds. It’s the first call for chunky knits, thermals and all kinds of knitted wear. It also means that it’s beautiful outside and we are trying to capture natures beauty while it lasts when it’s not raining or while the winds do not destruct it.
I guess my primary style favourites like boyfriend fit, oversized, stretchy, leaving some room outfits are perfect for the pregnancy wear and therefore I don’t have to spend a fortune on maternity clothes. Today’s outfit star is a knit dress, which I styled last year with a tencel top.
One of the pros in a knit dress is, of course, its ability to stretch! It’s easy to style it on its own (with a shirt or a cardigan on over it), or with a cropped sweater on top. By doing so, you can cover more seasons without a need to buy something new! It will also look beautiful with a short or long blazer and even the faux fur vest! The knit dress is so versatile that you need one or two in your wardrobe to cover the four seasons!
My other newest addition to the wardrobe are those beautiful sock booties. I never owned a pair before and wanted something in colour other than black, so another neutral won. They are made out of fabric, so I’ve used a spray protectant, but won’t recommend wearing them in rain or snow. I love how those sock booties look and think that they are the perfect match for a dress or a skirt, but you will also see me wearing them with jeans.
