Mad for the Buffalo Plaid.

Hello my loves and happy humpday! Can’t believe it’s the middle of the week already, been pretty busy lately and I’m already waiting for the weekend!
As you all know buffalo plaid is the one print that rocked this and last seasons and is still on the top, but for some of the reason I’ve been missing this particular print in my closet. Right until the sales started))) I’ve bought this dress few weeks ago on one of the 40% online sales (yes, I have preeety big list of email subscriptions) for ridiculous price (lets say less than 14 bucks) and there were only one but in it, it was little bit oversized. Well after few laundry mistakes (and damaged husband’s clothing) I know for sure what to do with big cotton clothing that needs to be shrunken – wash on hot and tumble dry and voila the dress is one size smaller!
Want to know how to wear buffalo plaid in office? Add black blazer, same colour booties and tights and almost transparent accessory.
Do you have any funny laundry story?

Pretty necklace. Love your plaid dress and the belt is a good choice.

I once made a whole load of white clothes minty green. A pair of socks so wonderfully made my clothes resemble mint ice cream. Thank goodness for Rite dye remover sheets!

I've shrunken a couple oversized things before so they fit better! It's great when it all works out 🙂 Love your dress and you look stunning!

Love that checkered dress! You accessorized it so perfectly!

Unfortunately for me, I only wear natural fragrances now (I'm one of those people!), but all my firends LOVE Marc Jacobs Daisy – it smells so fresh!

Omg, 6 sizes smaller))) I had sad story with 3 wool sweaters I've gifted to my husband, when I washed them our machine broke, so after few hours of fixing those sweaters could fit only children)))

Well that's always great when a laundry mishap ends in something better! All of my laundry stories have ended badly haha. Love the dress, I'm such a sucker for buffalo plaid.

    Tanya:
Love your look. Love you in the dress. I love the plaid….. but most of all you are so right with the jacket. What a great compliment to seal the deal, so to speak.
I have to tell you….. I was in the commons in a skirt yesterday, and 3 girls came up to me and told me how nice I looked. I almost fainted. I certainly blushed, and gushed multiple thank yous to them, Then they invited me to joint them at a table. Turns out that they are fashion design students. I never had a lunch time go by so fast. It was so wonderful to talk fashion and style. It reminded me of coming to your site each day. They encouraged me actually. It was so wonderful. So…through a skirt…. it was a drop waist skirt by the way…. I made new friends.
Thanks for your inspiration, Tanya. You're so lovely in so many ways.

      Hi Jayme,
That's such wonderful news! I'm so happy for you!
I love drop waist skirts, but spend little more time on styling outfit with them)
It's great that you have fashion design students who share the sense of style with you and most of all encouraged you!
      Your story made my day!
