Flatiron District is one of the top places you must visit when travelling to New York City! This commercial neighbourhood is full of food (of course), beautiful architecture and interesting sights. About some of them, I’ll talk in today’s post.
We took a long stroll from the Times Square to the Flatiron District to see and feel the city rhythm and boy was good! The Flatiron District runs from 18th Street to 27th Street, between Lexington Avenue (or, in the southern reaches, Park Avenue) and Sixth Avenue so when visiting, make sure you have enough time and an empty stomach to get the full experience! The heart of this district is, of course, Madison Square Park with its gem – the original Shake Shack. Sorry In-n-Out, but Shake Shack stole my heart, and my belly was waaaaay happier with it!
Continuing with my recommendations for food and drink places in the Flatiron District. Eataly (a branch of the famed Italian market, offering counters, restaurants & cooking demos) is one of the famous places to go when you have plenty of time and are a food lover, just like we are!
One more place that I would recommend, and still craving their wood-fired pizza, is PN Pizza.
If you want to jazz up the night, then 230 Fifth is the place to go!
One of the best city skyline view 230 Fifth is Manhattan’s largest indoor and outdoor rooftop-bar and event spaces. Be aware of the long waiting line and make your reservations beforehand. Don’t repeat our mistake.
