My Winter Face Care

beauty, Clarins, Clarisonic, Clinique, HydroPeptide, polyvore, Sephora Collection, Hair and Makeup, Health and Beauty

Winter is here and there is no point to deny that your skin needs extra protection and extra nutrition. I’ve combined here all products that I use on a daily basis and will describe my morning routine to help you understand better why I have here so many products 🙂

Morning:
Brush the teeth and wash the face with facial cleanser, then mist the face with toner and roll the anti-puff eye treatment under my eyes. Once it all absorbs (usually takes 2 minutes, not more) I apply a dab of Moisturising cream with spf (like Cetaphil) and only after that I apply the make us.
Day:
Pretty simple here, applying the blotting papers on T zone and misting the face with mineral water (our office environment is pretty dry and don’t have any humidifiers in it so to keep my face hydrated I use the thermal or mineral water sprays).
Night:
Most of my skin care routine applies to evening. Your face is tired after all day make up wearing so first thing you need to do is remove the make up and wash the face after. One of my recent faves is Clarisonic Mia3 (or Aria) (birthday gift from my hubby) and even thou I use it for only 2 weeks now I must say that it’s the best thing out there (probably I should write a separate post about that). Clarisonic has it’s own face wash, but I still use mine and it works the same.
Once my face is clean I usually apply eye cream and face oil (just a few drops of it). Since I wash my face few hours before I go to sleep my face oil absorbs perfectly and even if there is any left I just tap it away with paper towel or tissue. The last step here is to apply night cream, which is heavier than day ones and usually has more effect in restoring and energising the skin.
It might seem to much from the start but it doesn’t take a lot of time for me to do this. This is my everyday routine and I love it. When you see your skin glowing and hear compliments from people around you then you realize what a good job you did!
