Oversized Coat & Knitted Sweater | Styling the Bump

It’s getting cold, and we already had flurries since the weekend (and it’s only Tuesday). It is also the official start of holiday season prep, which means more red and green in the wardrobe, more sequins, velvet, chunky knits and cozy coats. One of my favourite outfits for this kind of weather is an oversized coat & knitted sweater, which keeps me nice and toasty.

I did not doubt whether I should or shouldn’t get this sweater, because of the colour! This bold green colour says it all! More than that, you guys were so kind in your comments on Instagram and even suggested some style ideas I didn’t consider before (plus one more holiday style idea for me).

As a lover of a total black and monochrome outfits, I decided to brighten up the gloomy weather by adding some colour to my style, and this knitted sweater came in handy. This sweater not only brightened the whole outfit but worn with the baker boy hat elevates the look from ordinary to elegant in my opinion. As for the rest of the details, a big thanks to Zara for introducing the Maternity line of clothing, especially for those ankle length jeans. Yes, they are worth the money and yes they help me to style my outfits in a usual way (for now I guess).

Shoes and accessories: I thought that mixing suede with suede will give this simple look more depth and I can see that it did. I would say that I’ll be wearing the same combination throughout the winter with similar knitted sweaters but in different colours, like I did last year sweater with a mini skirt and sweater with high waisted jeans.
