Ready to Bake Red Velvet Cupcakes.

Past weekend I’ve bought this ready to bake Red Velvet cupcake mix and decided to try them not from the scratch, but pre made. This turned out in a good bite-then-eat-them-all experiment, which made our whole family happy 🙂

red velvet, red velvet cupcakes, cupcakes,

I’ve used this Gourmet Red Velvet Cupcake Mix, which I’ve bought in Home Sense (TJX) probably you can find this type of mixes in Winners or Marshals too, it will have reduced price so your cravings for sweets won’t be very expensive.

Add some cream or icing on top and it will be the same as on the box. Add some grounded almonds on top and you’ll have original solution for those people who don’t like icing (like I do).

It’s very easy to cook them.

First preheat the oven to 350F and line muffin pan with paper baking cups.
Then mix contents of pouch with 2 large eggs, 50 ml oil (I used olive oil and next time will use half of what is recommended) and 160 ml water in mixing bowl.
Blend all ingredients and fill baking cups 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre of cupcake comes out clean. Once baked remove them from pan and allow to cool completely.
If you will add grounder almonds you can do it before baking the cupcakes.
If you’ll add icing do it only after cupcakes will be completely cool.
