The Spring is not yet over, but I decided to do a blog post with my current Spring Hair & Skincare Faves.
This season I tried so many new and great products (and actually was posting them on my Instagram) that a post with a round up was much needed!
Face Skincare Faves
Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
If you follow me on Instagram you saw Dr. Hauschka’s stunning presentation that I shared in my stories. With the great history of fair trade sourcing and only natural ingredients (free from any synthetic fragrances, dyes and preservatives as well as mineral oils, parabens, silicones) this cream can be your life saver.
One of the facts that amused me was: it takes four tonnes of rose petals to create one kilogram of essential rose oil. This day cream contains the equivalent of about 35 rose buds. It’s like a bouquet in a tube! And a very hydrating, soothing and skin protective bouquet. You don’t need a lot of this cream, just a dime size amount will do what it suppose to.
I’m really interested in the full line for sensitive or sensitive combination skin!
Avene Eau Thermale Water spray & Rehydrating Serum
Let’s start with the Thermal Water Spray. Back in a day I used to carry thermal water with me absolutely everywhere and used it religiously, especially in summer months. Then I somehow forgot about it.
When I received an Avene Thermal Water Spray and tried it I instantly remembered why I should (!!!) include it in my daily skincare routine.
I absolutely love the feeling of freshness on my skin when I use it. That incredible sense of a cool mist on the face – makes me and my skin feel so good. In two words, it soothes and softens the skin and can be used on top or under makeup, after sports, after hair removal, during travel, etc.
As for the Rehydrating Serum – I love the light texture and how fast absorbing it is! It helps to fight the dull skin complexion and restores the dehydrated skin.
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular (Peel Spray, Anti-Wrinkle Serum & Moisturizer)
Organic, plant based product is not only the best for your skin, but also for the environment! Contains Vitamin C, fruit stem cells, and a resveratrol rich grape base for hydrated and luminous skin.
The peel spray is my absolute favorite!!! I never used anything like that before neither did I knew that this way of exfoliation existed. I love how fun it is to use it in the morning and you can actually see the dead skin cells coming off!
To use it, I just shield/protect my eyes with a hand, spritz it all over my face, neck & décolleté, rub it into the skin in a circular motion and rinse it off with the water & bamboo cleansing cloth.
After that I apply my Anti-Wrinkle Serum & Moisturizer. Leaves my skin feeling nourished, hydrated and glowing.
Jouviance Contour Plus
I’m still using it, still loving it, you can read a full review here.

Hair Care Faves
Biolage R.A.W. Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner & Heat Styling Primer
As you know I constantly dye my hair (before I did highlights and recently switched to balayage) so my hair needs (or should I say screams for) serious protection. I’m also blonde and that my friends is a hard color to maintain.
So when I received my Biolage R.A.W. Color Care line I was very anxious to try it. Every item in the Biolage R.A.W. hair care collection ranges from 70 to 100% Natural Origin, is free from sulfates, silicones, parabens or artificial colorants in any form and is vegan.
The result – it’s out of this world! You can find tons of awesome reviews online so I won’t repeat that. The only thing I’ll tell you is that I never (like, never ever!) travel with my shampoo or conditioner (yup, I’m one of those people), always relying on the samples I received with my Sephora orders or (if we stay at the hotel) on hotel treats.
Well, this was the first time when I bought special travel size containers and actually took both shampoo & conditioner with me.
As for the Heat Styling Primer – love it, use it all the time and noticed that there are less split ends, which really helps my hair to stay healthy.
