Can you believe I’m wearing a combination of a sweater and mini skirt for the first time? I believe, the last time I did it in 2015 🙂
It’s never too late to go back to classics, but this time I used a trendy sweater to brighten up the style game.
I can see how my wardrobe becomes more monochrome and has mostly calm, neutral tones in the fall/winter season, so the addition of this sweater added some fun. I wasn’t sure how mixing this bulky top and oversized coat experiment will turn up, but I’m very pleased with the result.
Adding over the knee boots and a-line skirt really slim down the silhouette and having the coat, skirt and the boots the same shade really married the outfit together.
I’m sure if my winter coat would be a different color (like grey or brown) I would definitely look strange.
Also, lets talk about the great indoor spaces for winter photography, when it’s too cold, or windy, or snowing outside. It’s not a secret Eaton Centre did a great job with the pedestrian bridge for making it so elevated and beautiful!
